Every house is different, so every scope is too. But most of our Northglenn whole home projects pull from the same handful of areas.

Then come the finishes you’ll touch every day: flooring, cabinetry, countertops, doors, trim, drywall, and paint. One thing we always bring up with Front Range homeowners is our dry air and the big temperature swings we get (sometimes in the same afternoon). Some flooring and wood products handle that far better than others, and we’ll point you toward the ones that won’t gap or cup after a winter.
And if the outside needs love too, we build decks and fencing so the backyard can keep up with what’s happening inside.
How a Project Moves From Idea to Move Back In
It starts with a conversation, usually at your kitchen table. We walk the house with you, listen to what drives you crazy about it, and talk budget openly. I’d much rather have a frank talk about numbers up front than surprise anyone halfway through.
Next, our design team puts together layouts and helps you choose materials and finishes. You’ll get an itemized estimate that shows where the money goes, line by line. Once you’re comfortable, we pull permits through the City of Northglenn and line up the schedule.
Construction is where most people get nervous, and that’s fair. A whole home remodel takes months, not weeks, and there will be a day or two when the dust gets to you. We seal off work zones, clean up at the end of each day, and keep you posted on progress so you’re never wondering what’s going on. Often, yes. It comes down to the scope. If we’re redoing the kitchen and every bathroom at once, most families find a short stay elsewhere a lot easier. For projects that move room by room, we can set up sealed work areas so you still have a functional home.
Can the remodel be done in phases?
Absolutely. Some homeowners tackle the main floor this year and the basement next year. We’ll plan it so phase one doesn’t create rework for phase two, like finishing the main floor flooring so it runs cleanly into the stairs once the basement is done.
Can you open up a split-level or bi-level floor plan?
Usually, and it’s one of the most common requests we get in Northglenn. These layouts often have a wall or two separating the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Some can come out easily, others need a beam, and our engineer will tell us which is which.
What happens if you find problems behind the walls?
In older homes, it happens. If we uncover rot, water damage, or a past repair that wasn’t done right, we stop, show you what we found, explain your options, and give you a price before any extra work starts. No surprise charges.
